Between 29 March and 12 April 2024, ALBA undertook a survey of counsel’s experiences of and attitudes to the rates paid to barristers by central government. ALBA has compiled a report summarising the findings, which has been sent to the Treasury Solicitor with a view to informing any decision as to whether to increase those rates.
